This bit features 9" stainless steel shank cheeks, providing dramatic gag action that sends a warning signal to the horse before applying pressure. Longer shanks offer increased leverage and control, especially when making barrel turns. The three-piece mouthpiece is designed with a copper dog bone center and twisted wire bars, providing additional leverage to the corners of the mouth for a responsive feel. This bit is ideal for horses that are difficult to stop and require assistance in keeping their shoulders elevated.
