This Chinese weapon is S-2000 compliant (for blade stiffness requirement). It has a beginners practice blade-- somewhat heavy, it is a cut above run of the mill Chinese blades, tending to hold its form better than other Chinese blades, though stills subject to deformation over time. The major reason for choosing this weapon is the very low price. The guard is thin and light, handle is plastic, pad is felt; guard has a regulation-sized rubber sleeve and grounded sabre socket; pommel is insulated and is tightened with an inside 6mm wrench.
