How to use it?

Test compressing a snap before starting. Adjust the knob of the tool by thumb screws to keep the tool in proper condition. Do not need to test on the fabric, just get a feel for the setter tool by creating a snap from the two snap halves. This will familiarize you with the tool.
Use the punch die to punch holes. You can test punch function on waste fabric first to get better results when installing.
Change to the smooth die to set male side. Insert base of snap (caps) through hole in fabric, put the socket on the cap and press.
Change to another die to set female side. Insert stud through hole in fabric, put the post on the stud and press.
You can also watch the video to learn how to install the snaps. Once you get a feel for the tool and this process, you should be able to whip through all your snaps in no time.
