Why Tampico bristles?
The bristles are produced in Tampico, Mexico from a plant called Agave Lechugilla that unique to the semi-desertic regions. While nylon is a common bristle replacement to animal bristles, the Agave Lechugilla fibers differ in that they can hold and release water at a much higher percent than nylon.
This makes the fiber a great alternative to animal hair because it helps absorb and distribute the natural oils into the beard.
Additionally, the bristles are of different thickness and stiffness which helps penetrate the beard and reach to skin where brushing has a vital role of exfoliating the skin and keeping beard growth healthy.
