Description

The Accents series frame sectionals from Nielsen Bainbridge has a clean and classic design with a 3/8" wide flat face and 3/8” depth. Each frame kit contains 2 pieces of sectional moulding for do-it-yourself framing. Simply measure the overall height and width from the outside edges of your artwork, then choose one size kit for length and one kit for width and assemble your frame. Corner angles, eyelet hangers, and spring clips are included with the kit. The final frame will hold a print, backing glass and up to 2 mats. The Accents mouldings are made with durable anodized aluminum and are the same quality used by custom picture framers. Easy to assemble, the mould pieces will not warp, shrink or twist making them an excellent choice for large sized images, humid conditions, and commercial applications. As a metal, aluminum is ideal for conservation framing because metal does not outgas or contain acids and eliminates the need to seal the rabbet. The depth of a frame refers to the depth of the frames rabbet. This is the cut-out area behind the frames molding that holds your artwork in place. It’s easy to find a frame that works for you. Simply measure the depth of your artwork, remembering to include any matting or mounting materials. Order a frame with a rabbet depth that is at least the same as your measured depth.
