Description
The Kalimba, is a simple structure instrument nicknamed the “finger piano”. It is also known as a Mbira which was originally a traditional musical instrument of the Shona people of Zimbabwe, Africa. They used a coconut shell or a wooden box with a piece of iron to vibrate and create sound.
The Kalimba is one of the easiest instruments to learn to play. Unlike the regular piano, you don’t have dozens of keys, and complex chords and scales to learn. The appearance may look simple, but the sound is fascinating and easy to create.

2. Tune with hammer:
Making tines longer (from the point where they are held down on the bridge) will lower their pitch, and making them shorter will make their pitch higher.
