Need to easily handle 4ft x 8ft sheets of plywood? This kit includes everything you need to convert your circular saw into a track saw and rip 8ft lengths! Features 105 inches of the True Trac Pro-Series Circular Saw Guide Rail with a full 96 inch cutting capacity to easily break down 4ft x 8ft sheet goods or handle straight line ripping or tapers on dimensional lumber up to 8ft long.
Kit includes:
Accessories available for the True Trac Pro-Series Track Saw System include two styles of clamps, two styles of router adapter plates, a squaring accessory for making 90 degree cross cuts, a custom made carrying and storage case, a dust collection nozzle, as well as an expandable track saw cutting table!
With two separate sections of track that can be easily, accurately, and painlessly be joined together, you have the simple freedom to use the length of track necessary to handle your cuts, rather than having to contend with a significantly longer track while making shorter cuts.
The two segments also allow for easier shipment, which results in much less risk of damage during transport, and are much easier for you to store in your garage, basement, shed, or other similar work area once youre finished with your cuts. Most customers simply drill a hole in one of the flat areas and store the track by hanging it on a bike-rack style wall peg.
The Universal Saw Adapter Plate allows you to pick the correct type, size, and style of saw to facilitate the projects youre looking at. For example, you probably wouldnt use a 6-1/2" battery powered saw to cut 1-1/2 inch thick granite for a counter top, but a worm drive style saw with the appropriate blade can do so without issue. Same concept with cutting thick hardwood or exotic slabs.

Make Chip & Splinter Free Cuts Without Offset Measurements! The True Trac Universal Track Saw System features integrated splinter guards along both sides of the track. You will trim these strips during the initial set-up of the system after setting up your saw on the Universal Saw Adapter Plate. This provides an exact line-of-cut reference and eliminates the need for offset measurements, along with preventing tear-out and splinters on the top surface of your cut. Simply lay the edge of the track down on your mark and make your cut! |
A Truly Unique Track Design - Opposing Bevels & Dovetail GroovesThe double rises with opposing beveled edges allow our Universal Saw Adapter Plate to zero itself out when placed on the track - Similar in function to the way metal lathes square the cross-slide in machine shops, this removes any and all play between the adapter plate and track. The double rises allowed the incorporation of two parallel dovetail-shaped grooves along the entire length of the track - These are used to join two or more sections together with our self-aligning dovetail connectors! The Anti-Chip Strips are also held in place with small T-slots, rather than double faced tape or other adhesive, for easy replacement later. |
Easily Straight Line Rip Live Edge or Rough Sawn LumberWith a True Trac Track Saw you can easily straight line rip any type of material, even if it has an irregular or rough edge. Simply lay the track down and ensure youre trimming off all of the irregularities along the edge. The track will produce a straight and clean edge that can then be used as an index edge for future cuts, or a glue-ready edge with the proper blade style and care. The Universal Saw Adapter Plate can handle 6-1/2" to 8-1/4" diameter circular saws, with a specialty plate available for 10-1/4" saws. |
Due to the True Trac system being a universal track saw kit, the Saw Adapter Plate must be aligned properly to the blade of your circular saw.
Each kit will contain the Universal Saw Adapter Plate, 6 mounting nuts and bolts, 2 threaded brass inserts w/ appropriate bolts (for installing Zero Clearance Block), along with the Zero Clearance Block (small white block) and Saw Set Up Jig (small black block)
The Universal Saw Adapter Plate will be referenced directly to the blade of the saw you wish to adapt. This ensures that the saw blade and adapter plate are parallel to one another, and set to the proper spacing to allow use of the Anti-Chip Strips. This is accomplished with a provided Set Up Jig that comes with every kit.
Simply clamp the adapter plate to the base of your saw with spring clamps, grab the Set Up Jig and adjust the plate around to remove gaps between the Jig and body of the saw blade. Once the gaps are removed, C-clamp the adapter tightly to the base of your saw.
Once the adapter plate is appropriately spaced using the Set Up Jig and C-Clamps to hold it in place, locate suitable spots on the metal base of your saw to drill through to allow the mounting bolts and nuts to be installed.
We utilize nuts and bolts instead of a clamping system for two reasons: One, the design variations between brands, models, and production years makes it almost impossible to maintain universality. Two, a clamp is not consistent enough from use-to-use to maintain accuracy.
Once you have your saw securely mounted and have trimmed the Zero Clearance Block and Anti-Chip Strips along the edge of the track, youre all set.
Now that youve converted your circular saw into a track saw, you can easily handle all of your straight line cutting needs accurately, safely, and easily!
