SET UP Step 1
- Unfold box. Insert square into the bottom of the box by sliding it down between the plastic liner and box front, to reinforce bottom.
- Open liner, by smoothing it against the sides and bottom of box. Pull tubing through grommet so it is fully extended outside of the box and the short white tube connector extends outside of box. Ensure the inside grommet is flush with the inside of the box and the valve is not covered by the liner, so that water can flow freely.
SET UP Step 2
- Using a waterproof marker, make a water fill-line inside your box on the plastic liner, so that your box’s fill-line is NO HIGHER than the water fill-line on your tree stand.
- Never fill your box higher than your tree-stand’s maximum fill-line.
SET UP Step 3
- Insert the tube end so it is positioned at or near the bottom inside of your tree stand. Using the Green Bendable Tie, attach the tie to a secure part of the tree stand so that it holds the tube end in place.
- Place your box in it’s final position near your tree. Ensure there are no kinks in the tube, so water can flow freely.
Note: Deeper and taller tree stands may require Santas Tree Helper to be raised up onto a surface a few inches off the floor, to ensure continuous watering

Filling and Maintaining
- Fill your box with water up to the line you marked inside your box in Step 3
- Briefly lift the box about 12 “ higher than the tree stand, until the water begins to flow into your stand.
- Once the water begins to flow, place box on the floor - the water will continue to fill your tree stand.
- After about 5 minutes, add additional water up to your box’s inside fill-line if needed.
- In order to keep your tree stand full, add water to your box every 2-3 days.
- To prevent overflowing tree stand, NEVER fill box higher than the fill-line marked inside your box, in Step 3.
- If water stops flowing, add water to fill-line, and lift the box about 12” higher than the tree stand, until the water flows into your stand again.
