●Reliable Heating and Wide Temperature Range. For wood with different densities or other types of material (foam, leather, gourd, and more), you will need to try and select the suitable temperature from 250℃~750℃/482℉~1382℉ to get desired burn marks. Instead of applying excessive pressure on the nib, the correct way to control the strokes color is either by turning up/down the pyrography stations temperature or by slowing down/speeding up the pyrography pen movement.
●Be creative. You can creatively explore the possible uses of 20 different wire nibs. By gripping the wire-nib pen at different angles, burn marks will also vary. If the pen nibs temperature slightly drops due to contact with the wood, simply lift the pen nib away from the wood for a while, then you may continue your drawing once the nibs temperature recovers.

Try different temperature settings with different pen tips on scrap wood, figuring out how to create your desired strokes.

How to control the intensity and thickness of the burn marks?

1. Adjust pyrography pens temperature. (The higher, the darker, the lower, the lighter)

2. Slow down or speed up the pyrography pen movement.

3. Try light-colored strokes before burning the same area repeatedly to darken the shade.
