Coolant housing or water outlet serves as the connection point between engine and upper radiator hose.It may be made of metal, plastic, or resin, depending on vehicle’s manufacturer. In reality, metal is a precarious material. As being susceptible to rust from exposure to high levels of water, metal can become warped over time, and also splinter-off metallic shavings into cooling system. When your vehicles hood will be sizzling and smoking hot, you need to replace it in time.

The engine coolant water outlet with sensor connects the engine to the radiator for the circulation of coolant maintaining ideal engine temperature which prevents the engine from overheating and eventually causing severe damage to the engine. A water outlet serves as the link between your vehicles engine and the upper radiator hose. Usually bolted at the top of your vehicles water pump housing, helps keep your vehicles thermostat in place while protecting it from various debris.
