Description

This Banjo AF400 ANSI flange is a polypropylene pipe fitting with 4" female NPT threads. The flange has four bolt holes for joining two sections of pipe or connecting valves. It has female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting to a male NPT threaded pipe and eight bolt holes to connect to flat surfaces or other flanges for gaining easier access to plumbing. This fitting is precision molded in polypropylene, which resists most chemicals, has excellent dimensional stability, and is sterilizable. In addition, it is reinforced with fiberglass for added durability, strength, and chemical resistance. This fitting is suitable for use in a wide variety of liquid handling applications including, but not limited to, fertilizers, industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and water treatment.

Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size, and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness).

Banjo manufactures valves, couplings, pumps, pipe and hose fittings, and other fluid handling products for industrial applications. The company, founded in 1995, is headquartered in Crawfordsville, IN.
