The RaspBee II replaces multiple vendor-specific ones with a single gateway and supports many popular brand Zigbee devices. Check out the RaspBee II compatibility list to learn more.

Control is local via the Phoscon app. In addition to this, there are community supported home automation systems such as Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, openHAB, FHEM, HomeSeer, Homebridge, ioBroker and WebThings Gateway that integrate the RaspBee II.
This opens up many exciting possibilities to integrate the Zigbee devices supported by the RaspBee II into home automation.

Integrated real-time clock (RTC)Since the Raspberry Pi does not have an RTC by default, the system clock time can sometimes deviate greatly from the actual time after a power or Internet failure. Automations such as arming the alarm system after 10 p.m. are then executed at the wrong time. Due to the integrated battery powered RTC of the RaspBee II the exact time is always guaranteed. |
For all Raspberry Pi modelsThe add-on module is compatible with the stacking-header of all Raspberry Pi models, including the Raspberry Pi Zero. The small form factor allows the RaspBee II to be used with a wide range of cases. |
Strong signal range via power-amplifierThe RaspBee II has an outstanding range thanks to its signal amplifier. Depending on the building conditions, it is possible to cover 2-3 rooms or floors. Devices located further away are connected via the Zigbee mesh network. In this network, all permanently powered Zigbee devices, such as lights and switchable sockets, act as repeaters and can forward the signal. |
