Description

Quick coupling is used to provide a frequent make-or-break connection of fluid lines. It is known as quick coupler, or quick connect coupling. The benefits of quick coupling include protection against harmful contaminants and environment, durability, easy identification of lines (due to colour coded plug and cap), and tether strap helps to keep plug and cap close when coupling halves are connected. Quick couplings are installed manually, so no machine or other equipment are needed. Depending on the industry applications, there are several standards. These standards are ISO 7241-A Norm, ISO 7241-B, and 203 Series TGW. Each standard has different working pressure, connection type, material, and working temperature. The standard used for this product is 203 Series TGW. It is used for pipe connection under high pressure where a fast and easy connection is needed. The screw locking mechanism for this standard is excellent in resisting high hydraulic loads. In fact, the design of this 203 Series TGW quick coupling is such that it can also withstand shocks, vibrations, and hose bending within the hydraulic system. This 203 Series TGW quick connect coupling has NBR seal and it is able to withstand a temperature range of (-30°C to 100°C). The material used is carbon steel A105. Its working pressure is up to 950 bars. The connection type is NPT. The NPT (tapered) thread on both end connections makes easy to assemble and disassemble during maintenance and installation. The working pressure varies according to the size of the quick coupling.
