Product Description

This casement sash lock is constructed of diecast and comes in a white painted finish. It features 3 different strike plates for use with push-out and swing-in casement windows that are not operated with a standard crank-out operator. The steel rim strike (1 in. x 1-3/8 in.) and the diecast surface strike (1/2 in. x 2 in.) included with this item are used for swing-in casements commonly hung with steel butt hinges. The steel mortise strike (11/16 in. x 2-7/16 in.) is for use with push-out casements, also commonly hung with steel butt hinges. Some mortising may be required when installing the rim strike or mortise strike. All fasteners are included with lock hardware. These locks are used on old style wood casement windows.
