Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
1. I need 50 pictures, the exposure time for each picture is 10s, and the interval time between each picture is 5s, how set?
----(Camera in Bulb mode) Set the [BU] to 10s and [INT] to 15s, then set the [N] to 50 and press the [Start] button.
Why the [INT] needs to be set 15s instead of 5s as you wanted the interval to be 5s, as in the default programs of this remote, the interval time includes the exposure time. So the 15s of [INT] minus the 10s of [BU] results in 5s real interval time between each picture.
2. What batteries does it use?
----The receiver uses CR-2 battery, while the transmitter uses AAA battery.
3. Does the remote receiver require connection to a hot shoe on the camera?
----The receiver can connect to the camera hot shoe but that is for mounting convenience only. There is no electrical connection, so if you want to mount it somewhere else or let it hang free that would also work.
4. Can this be used to control video?
----No, it cannot control the video.
5. Does it include the necessary cable to connect the camera?
----Yes, a camera connecting cable is included in the packaging, please make sure you order the correct size as different camera requires different connecting cable.
6. Can I set the interval to daily?
----No, it does not have an independent time of day clock and cannot set to daily, but can set from 1 second to 99 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds.
7. Can I set the bulb time longer than interval time?
----No, the interval time must longer than bulb time, because the interval time contains bulb time.
8. Can I use one transmitter to trigger multiple cameras at the same time?
----Yes, but the transmitter and multiple receivers must use the same channel and the shooting distance should within 100 meters, and the most important thing is you need to get extra receivers.
