What is automatic low pressure drop？

The "low-pressure drop" function of the automatic transmission oil cooler. The cooler assembled with the barbed end of the hose includes a unique bypass function that allows a controlled amount of ATF to bypass the stacked plate cores when the fluid cools. This helps prevent the failure of the lubrication system in cold climates. Controlled by the viscosity, the fluid directly returns to the lubricating oil circuit through the bypass hole in the stacked plate core. As the temperature increases, more ATF is directed through the core.
