Safety First ! Be Alert, Avoid Accidents !

• There may be water in the oil that can build dangerous steam pressure. Do not lock the pot lid in place if the oil sizzles.
• Always use a pot that will fit under the valve and is big enough to hold all the oil. The oil level should be at least 2” below the top of the pot when the fryer is empty.
• It is best to Filter in the morning when the oil is liquid and only 10 F or 20 F above room temperature.

Directions for use

For fryers with drain valves

For heavy crumb loads & faster filtering:

1. Drain the oil directly into filter pot. The oil does not pass through the filter.

2. Use a sauce pan and oil from the filter pot to flush crumb residue from the bottom of the fryer.

3. Shut the fryer drain valve. The heavy crumb and sludge will settle to the bottom of the filter pot and

place the EZ FlowTM Filter across the top of the fryer.

4. Use the sauce pan to return the oil to the fryer through the filter bag until the weight of the oil and pot is light

enough to be lifted and poured safely. Set the thermostat to frying temperature and turn fryer ON.

For normal crumb loads:

1. Place the EZ FlowTM Filter across the top of the filter pot and carefully drain the oil through the filter.

2. Use a sauce pan and filtered oil from the filter pot to flush crumb residue from the bottom of the fryer into the

filter pot.

3. Shut the fryer drain valve.

4. Use the sauce pan to return the oil to the fryer through the filter bag until the weight of the oil and pot is light

enough to be lifted and poured safely. Set the thermostat to frying temperature and turn fryer ON.

Cleaning Procedure

• Your MirOil Filter cleans in seconds using a rinse of hot water spray.
• Do not use soap or detergent to clean the filter, fry baskets, fryers or filter pots. Do not clean any of these items in the dishwasher.
• The least residue of soap or detergent will reduce the life and performance of your oil.
• Clip the pot lid in place and store both the filter and filter pot in the same safe place for next day use.

Fryer oil storage containers are essential equipment for any commercial kitchen. In the fryer cleaning and oil filtration process you need to store the used and spent oil and easily move it around as needed as effectively as possible.

Oil storage and transportation pots and pails need to not only be food compatible, but also have all the necessary safety features in place to avoid accidents. MirOil have specifically designed their range of filter pots and utility pails with just that in mind and have produced one of the safest ranges of oil storage containers on the market.

MirOil have 2 kinds of storage containers available: Blue Utility pails, and Silver Filter Pots. Both can be used for safe storage AND transportation but the pails are specially designed for transportation and storage, and the pots are specially designed for use in the filtration process

• Miroil pots have a low profile to fit under most drain valves so that you can more easily drain the deep fryer directly into the pot.

The MirOil filter pots are made from ultra-durable and rust-resistant coated steel which can hold oil up to 300 degrees.

The MirOil utility pail (Model 30L) safely stores and transports deep fryer oil and is designed to make the task of transporting hot oil easy and, most importantly, safe. This MirOil utility pail is not under-counter and is designed specifically for transporting hot oil, but it still makes for a good filtering vessel regardless.
