UNIQUE TEMPLATE
Even though traditional Bonzers look cool, they dont quite work that well on a foamie. Perfect Storm Bonzer-Bites give drive with the forward area, and release from the rounded edges on the back.
CANT IS IN OUR VOCABULARY
The bold 8-degree cant we put into these Bonzer-Bites is a very important feature for this type of fin. This improves the hold the working rail has on the wave. Only one Bonzer fin is usually working when riding a wave face. When you turn right the right one works and the left one releases, and vice versa. Cant makes the working fin grab quicker, and releases the non-working fin just as fast to make the board feel less sticky and more lively.
ABOUT PERFECT STORM
In 2014 after another fun session on his Wavestorm, Venice Beach local Jason Schuster Googled “fins for Wavestorm”. To his surprise there were none. Jason, had an idea: How can he make the most fun board in the water even more fun? So In the backyard of his bungalow in Venice Beach, the Perfect Storm was born. Considering the aquadymanics of 8’ foamie, he hand-shaped a prototype. Designed for speed, directional control, and stability, built specifically for the soft-top. Jason’s vision for the Perfect Storm Single Fin became a reality. He made hand-made a limited quantity to sell to friends. The stoke spread and so did Perfect Storm Fins. Jason felt surfers should lose their egos at the waters edge and just enjoy the glide and feel of the wave when riding a soft-top. He enforced that by making them in only pink as a reminder.
