When looking for a classic, reliable cornhole set, Star cornhole boards check all the boxes. American-made and built with quality in mind, you can play through countless backyard barbeques, tailgate parties, or professional tournaments.

Cornhole is a popular outdoor game played by tossing bean bags into a hole in a platform. To play, two cornhole platforms are placed 27 feet apart from each other, with the front edge of each board opposite each other. The objective is to toss the bean bags into the hole in the platform for points. A cornhole bag in the hole scores 3 points, while a bag on the platform scores 1 point. The first team to reach 21 points wins the game. In case of a tie, the game continues until a team reaches a 2-point lead.

Each player takes turns tossing their 4 bean bags from the pitchers box, which is located behind the platform. The player must remain within the pitchers box while tossing the bags. If a player steps on or outside the pitchers box while throwing, their throw is considered a foul and no points are awarded for that throw.

A round of cornhole ends when all 8 bags have been thrown. Points are only awarded for bags that remain on the platform or in the hole at the end of each round. If a bag is knocked off the platform by another bag, it is removed from the platform and no points are awarded for that bag.

Cornhole can be played by two individuals or by teams of two. The game is simple to learn and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is a great way to spend time with friends and family while enjoying the great outdoors.

2 foot by 4 foot and a 6 inch hole

Regulation cornhole boards are the standard size and design used in the popular outdoor game, cornhole. These boards meet specific requirements set by the American Cornhole Association (ACA) to ensure fair and competitive play. Regulation boards are typically 48 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 12 inches tall, constructed with durable wood materials like plywood or particleboard. The playing surface must be level and smooth, and there must be a 6-inch diameter hole located 9 inches from the top of the board and 12 inches from either side. The ACA requires boards to weigh between 35-40 pounds each, and regulation cornhole bags must be 6x6 inches and weigh between 1-1.5 pounds. Using regulation boards and bags helps ensure a fair game for all players.
