The objective is to toss the bean bags into the hole in the platform for points. A cornhole bag in the hole scores 3 points, while a bag on the platform scores 1 point. The first team to reach 21 points wins the game. In case of a tie, the game continues until a team reaches a 2-point lead.

Each player takes turns tossing their 4 bean bags from the pitchers box, which is located behind the platform. The player must remain within the pitchers box while tossing the bags. If a player steps on or outside the pitchers box while throwing, their throw is considered a foul and no points are awarded for that throw.

A round of cornhole ends when all 8 bags have been thrown. Points are only awarded for bags that remain on the platform or in the hole at the end of each round. If a bag is knocked off the platform by another bag, it is removed from the platform and no points are awarded for that bag.
