Description

The SHAVIV 151-90085 Top Three Mango II Deburring Tool Starter Kit includes a Mango II handle, three holders, five B blades, one C blade, and two E blades in a carrying case for long-reach deburring of hole edges, straight edges, and small diameters. The Mango II handle has an ergonomic design for comfort and control. The kit includes three blade holders: B, which holds SHAVIV B-series blades be used axially or perpendicular to the material; C, which holds the SHAVIV C40 blade; and E, which holds SHAVIV E-series blades.

The kit contains one each of B10, B20, B30, B50, and B60 blades. All are made of high-speed steel except the B50 blade, which is a carbide-tipped scriber. The B10 blade is designed for deburring straight edges and hole edges on steel, aluminum, copper, and plastic. The B20 blade is designed for deburring straight edges and hole edges on brass, cast iron, and plastic, and rotates clockwise as well as counterclockwise. The B30 blade simultaneously deburrs the inside and outside of holes up to 0.16" thick on steel, aluminum, copper, and plastic. The B50 blade deburrs flat surfaces on steel, aluminum, copper, brass, cast iron, stainless steel, hardened steel, and plastic. It can be reground. The B60 blade deburrs the back edges of holes up to 0.78" in diameter on steel, aluminum, copper, and plastic.

The kit also contains one each of C40, E100, and E300 blades. All are made of high-speed steel. The C40 triangular scraper has a 0.16" tip that is designed for precision work on steel, aluminum, copper, brass, cast iron, stainless steel, and plastic. It rotates clockwise as well as counterclockwise. The E100 blade is designed for heavy duty deburring of straight edges and hole edges on steel, aluminum, copper, and plastic. The E300 blade simultaneously deburrs the inside and outside of holes up to 0.24" thick on steel, aluminum, and copper.

Deburring cutters are hand tools used to remove sharp edges and small unwanted bumps, also known as burrs, from material. The cutter typically consists of two pieces: a handle and a blade. The handle holds a blade that is typically made from high-speed steel, carbide, or ceramic, and may have a coating to extend its life or for work on tougher materials. The blades have different designs for deburring in a range of applications, such as straight edges, hole edges, through-holes, slots, and corners. A blade holder can be connected to a handle to hold the blade for long-reach work.

Vargus manufactures cutting, grooving and deburring tools under the Vardex, Groovex, and SHAVIV brand names. The company, founded in 1960 and headquartered in Nahariya, Israel, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001:2000.
