Q1. Which SD card do I use in my dash cam?
A1: The Class 10 or higher, 32GB MicroSD Card is recommended. And please format it to the FAT32 file system on your computer and camera before using it for the first time. It is recommended to replace the card with a new one when multiple reminders for formatting. Or using the paper clip to poke the "RESET" hole, you can reset the factory setting, which can also fix this problem or other little questions(like freeze) well. It is recommended to format the card regularly every two weeks.
Q2. After I charge it overnight, how long will the dash cam work without power from the car charger?
A2: All dash cams on the market with a built-in lithium battery only support a few small functions such as to provide enough power to save the last video file when the power gets disconnected.So please keep the dash cam AlWAYS connected to the charger when its recording.
Q3: How do I set up the dash cam to fully utilize it’s functions?
A3: We recommend that you choose these settings: 1) set the Loop Recording to "3 minutes"; 2) set the G-sensor to "low"; 3) turn off Motion Detection while driving.
Q4: Why does the dash cam turn off after 1 minute?
A4: This is the screensaver function of the dash cam. The dash cam will automatically turn off after one minute when you are driving to avoid distracting. If you dont want this function, you can turn it off in the settings.
Q5: How do I view videos?
A5: 1. You can view videos directly in the camera.
2. You can use the card or USB data cable to transmit the videos to the computer for check.(Do NOT use Windows Media Player. VLC Media Player, KM Player or PotPlayer is recommended.)
