Feature

●Medium Duty Tire Chains
●For 2 link chains, cross chains occur every other side chain link giving consistent ride with less grip-slip like a 4 link chain.
●For easier installation of two and four link chains see our Sno-Chain Ramps . Optional Tensioner is recommended for maximum life and performance of chains.

European Net Style

The European Net Style is excellent on deep lug tires and stay on top of the tread. This chain provides excellent lateral stability since the cross chains run the center of the tire and diagonally side to side. The Net style are much smoother running since the pattern is consistent so the tractor will not bounce. European Diamond Style Garden Tire Chains have an integrated tensioner.

  • Includes Tensioning Device
  • Smooth Consistent Ride

Differences: Duo-Grip and European Net Style

Duo Grip Style Tire Chains

The duo-grips cross chains are connected in the middle, this pattern does not fall between the tread bars.

Duo-Grip Tire Chains recommended for:

field work deep tread off road use hilly conditions

Duo-Grip NOT recommended for use on pavement. Duo Style tire chains may dig blacktop or concrete more than the ladder style.

4 Link Tire Chains

4 Link Spacing Details:

  • 4 Link Spacing is an economical alternative to the 2 link spacing snow chains.
  • Twisted Link Snow Chains are recommended for pavement and concrete.
  • 4 link tractor chains, cross chains occur every 4rth side chain link.

2 Link2 Link

2 Link Tire Chains

2 Link Spacing Details:

  • Heavy Duty Tire Chain is made of thicker cross chain and thicker side chain and fasteners.
  • Twisted Link Chains are recommended for pavement and concrete.
  • 2 link snow chains, cross chains occur every other side chain link giving consistent ride with less grip-slip like a 4 link chain.

V-BarV-Bar

V-Bar

V-Bar Details:

  • V Bar Tire Chains are V-bar are helpful on hill, ice and hard packed conditions. They are not recommended on pavement since they can damage the surface it the tires begin to spin.
  • V-BAR also called, Ice breaker, ICE BAR and REINFORCED TIRE CHAINS. The V-bar is a piece of hardened angle iron, welded to each link of the cross chain. 15/64 or 9/32 thick depending on actual tire size. Recommended for ice and off road use. Double the wear over tire chains without the V Bar.

  • What is the difference between 2 and 4 link spacing? Snow Chains spacing is defined as the number of side chain links skipped between cross chains. For 2 link snow chains, cross chains occur every 2 side chain links. For 4 link tire chain, cross chains occur every 4 side chain link.
  • Which is better 2 or 4 link spacing? 2 link tire chain is always better. 2 - link tire chain provide for a more consistent ride by having more chain on the face of the tire. Therefore, helping to reduce the bumpy ride from being on chain - off chain. 2 link is always recommended for steering tires, since it allows more steering control.
  • When is V-Bar tire chain recommended? V-bar is helpful on hills, ice and hard packed conditions. V - Bar or Ice Bar chains are not recommended on pavement since they can damage the surface if the tires begin to spin.
  • Do I have enough clearance between the tire, struts, or control arms? Check your your owners manual, vehicle manufacture or dealer to confirm adequate clearance. Click here for a picture of a tire chain clearance problem.
