Alliance Chemical - Xylene

Xylene is an organic chemical compound. It is also known as dimethylbenzene or Xylol. It is known by many names but consistently sought after for its immense utility and usefulness.
It is a solvent that is used in synthetic enamels, oil-based paints, lacquer, varnishes, and epoxy. Unlike some thinners such as toluene, it evaporates at a slower rate, giving you the ability to use less and get more.
- It is effective to use in hot weather for brushing applications
- It may also be used as a clean-up solvent for tools and equipment immediately after use. Use this in place of toluene, if needed
- It is a colorless, flammable, non-viscous, toxic liquid. It does not dissolve in water but is miscible with various organic liquids
