maxsquare True 4K HDMI Coax Extender Over Single RG59/RG6 Coaxial Cable

maxsquare MSQ-100E improves your HDMI transmission range in Ultra HD 4K2K format to 110m (363ft) with a single coaxial cable. The MSQ-100E is simple to set up and works flawlessly with Belden 1694A coaxial cables. Other coaxial cables can also be used with the MSQ-100E, and the transmission distance is limited by the coaxial cables quality and bandwidth.

Additionally, the MSQ-100E has a bi-directional IR pass-through path. This added feature enables users to utilize the same coax cable to operate IR-equipped devices such as TVs and Blu-ray players, and the MSQ-100E allows IR control through a single coax cable in addition to high-quality HDMI A/V signals.

* The length is determined by the coax cables characteristics and quality. Low-skew cables are required for higher resolutions and longer transmission distances. A robust and shielded coax cable is recommended.*

FAQ

  • Q#1: Does it support HDR or 3D?

A: No, it doesnt support 3D and please see the introduction of supported resolutions above.

  • Q#2: Why video is working fine but no audio?

A: It can only support stereo audio, but sometimes the source connected to the extender can still send an unrecognized audio stream to it. Though the embedded firmware is supposed to handle this multiple channel audio issue correctly, users may still experience no or partial audio on a very rare occasion. When this issue happens, please send us the settings, and we will assist and send new firmware after analyzing the environment.

  • Q#3: Does it support Dolby?

A: It only supports stereo audio.

  • Q#4: Can it use with stranded RG59 coax cable?

A: It is available for the MSQ-100E, however its transmission distance is less than that of solid coax cable. (A stranded RG59 coaxial cable has a maximum distance of up to 80m(260ft). The distances are limited by the quality of the coax cables.

  • Q#5: Will this work with ARC?

A: Nope
