How to Pair with Airpods

Put BT DUO in Pairing Mode

Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds(LED indicator flashes blue twice) and tap twice to enter pairing mode (flashes red and blue alternately)

Put AirPods in Pairing Mode

First place AirPods inside Charging Case. With the lid open, press and hold the button on the Charging Case until the pairing light flashes white

BT DUO and AirPods will automatically pair together within 2-3s. And the BT Duo indicator will keep blue and the indicator of AirPods case turns green

Frequent Questions & Answer

TX & RX mode change? Switch the TX&RX button directly in the on or off mode.

Musical instrument? For live music or musical instruments, it is suggested to use a specialized Bluetooth transmitter receiver.

Make phone calls? Without a built-in mic, the adapter does not support any calls or communication, and can only play or listen to the sound.

Can it automatically re-pair? Normally, the adapter will reconnect to previously paired devices when it is turned on. Please pair manually if it fails to pair after 10s.

Intermittent sound? When the sound is lower than a certain volume, the CSR chip will not detect the signal and cannot transmit that sound. In this case, please kindly increase the volume.

No sound or sound still from the TV? Please ensure the aux cable is tightly plugged into the “AUDIO OUT” or headphone jack in your TV and both devices are successfully paired. Then change the TV’s sound settings from “TV speaker” to “Audio out”.

AptX Low Latency Supported? In order to avoid lip-sync issues, your BT headset or speaker also needs to support the codec of aptX Low Latency. Please check with your device manufacturer to verify this. If not, the codec would be downgraded to aptX or even SBC, and you may experience a noticeable audio lag.

Buying 2 BT-DUO, 1 as a transmitter, the other as a receiver? This type of set-up is viable, which adds Bluetooth functions to 2 devices (such as a TV and a wired headphone). Connect the transmitter to a TV; Connect the receiver to a wired headphone; Pair the transmitter with the receiver, in this way, you have done the set-up! Enjoy the music with low latency (40ms) reagardsless of the codec of earphone.

Bluetooth Receiver for Car? YES, some cars only have aux jack and have no Bluetooth function, you can use TROND BT-DUO as a Bluetooth receiver, this way, it will allow your car to have Bluetooth functions. Simply pair the Bluetooth receiver with your iPhone 11/pro and start to enjoy stereo music wirelessly. Please note the Bluetooth receiver will automatically power off if no device is paired within 6 minutes in the standby mode or the pairing mode.
