The Dos and Donts :

  1. Make sure you have sufficient liquid in the Instant Pots inner pot to generate the necessary steam to pressure cook.
  2. The bottom pan cooks slightly faster than the top pans, so it is better to place the food that takes a longer time to cook in the bottom pan.
  3. If you are cooking solid food such as rice or pasta then add at least 1 cup of water to the insert pan containing the solid food, and also ensure you have sufficient liquid in the Instant Pots inner pot to generate necessary steam to pressure cook; otherwise, it wont cook.
  4. When cooking foods that expand during cooking such as rice, beans or dried vegetables, do not fill the insert pan over 1/2 full for better.

How to use?

  1. Take out the stainless steel pans from the holder.
  2. Fill the pans with food, and cover it with the chosen lid (steaming lid for steaming food, or sealing lid for cooking or reheating).
