Description

This McGill CCYR series yoke-type cam follower bearing with lip seals supports high static and dynamic loads in cam-type applications. This precision cam roller has a thick-walled outer ring that helps minimize deformation under heavy radial and shock loads. It has a yoke-type design for use with heavier loads or where clevis or shaft mounting is preferred. This cam follower is made of bearing steel treated with black oxide for corrosion resistance. The working surfaces of the inner raceway and flange are zone-hardened to support contact stresses from the rolling elements, and the inner ring is ductile to help absorb shock loads. The bearing holds a full complement of needle rollers for a higher radial load-carrying capacity than caged rollers. Seals at each end retain lubricant and protect against contaminants. This cam follower is suitable for use in a broad range of linear and motion translation applications including process transfer lines, ram support rollers, conveyors, machine tools, and indexing equipment.
