Description

Cut 52°/38° back angles on crown moldings and cornices with the Yonico 16143 Crown molding router bit. As an alternative to 45° installation, 52°/38° angles enables moldings and cornices to be installed at the tilt with the most eye appeal. While high ceiling crown moldings will show best when angled downward, a crown molding installed on a low ceiling or a cornice installation will look best when angled upwards. For higher ceilings, route the ceiling edge with the stock face up, Then flip over and route the wall edge face down. For lower ceilings, route the wall edge with the stock face up, Then flip over and route the ceiling edge face down. Note: be sure to cut angles before routing the actual molding profile to enable precise angle cuts. Two flute carbide cutters with ball bearing guide. Largest diameter is 2-3/8" And Cutter height is 1-9/16". Shank is 1/2".
