Description

The cabinetmakers chisel features classic octagonal boxwood handles - the old favorites of yesteryears discerning craftsmen. The unique "London pattern" of handle with turned finger contours, flat milled body, and graduated sizing promotes a more positive and natural grip for controlling your cuts. Fitted to finely machined bevel-edged blades, each tool has a leather "anti-shock" washer between bolster and handle, and brass ferrules to prevent handle splitting. Like all Sorby tools, each chisel is individually inspected and hardness tested to ensure you get a tool of the highest quality. Overall Length 9-3/4" to 12-3/4".
