[Lower Bearing Carrier Puller]
Step 1 : Remove the oil drain screw from beneath the prop shaft and the vent/fill screw on the gearcases upper right side to drain the oil from the lower unit.
Step 2: Find the washer tab that is tucked underneath the retaining ring and bend it away.
Step 3 :Using a retaining ring removal tool and a breaker bar, remove the retaining ring.
Step 4 : Using a bearing carrier removal tool, remove the bearing carrier assembly from the bottom unit.
