Integral concrete/grout dye

The loading rate is between 3% to 10% by total concrete weight depending on depth of color required in the mix. More pigments, deeper color.

Adhere to wet clay surface

The pigments can be sprinkled on wet concrete surface , which can be then burnished with a finishing trowel ( or brushed) to create unique effects.

Mix with binder

These pigments are usable in paints and coats including water-based and solvent-based systems. The anti-corrosion properties remain intact. 1 part binder with 1 part pigment until the mix became a workable paste. They can be added directly to oil-based binders, such as glycerin, resins, waxes and varnishes.

Artist painting

Dry pigments for artist can be used for hand made oil, watercolor, tempera, acrylic etc.

Color chart

Rock N Soil concrete color pigment recommended dosage rates is between 3% to 10% by weight of dry concrete depending on depth of color required in the mix. Dosage levels above this amount will produce little color change as ‘color saturation’ has been reached. When it dries it becomes lighter than when the color is still wet.

They can be blended with each other to produce an even wider range of colors. You can mix them to match the colors you need. Black is widely used in the concrete industry. It can be mixed to darken other pigments, and used alone to make light greys, dark greys or straight black. Our black has a bluish tinge to it which will be deeper than other brownish tinge.

To ensure consistent coloring, keep all variables the same from batch to batch. Variations in the mix design, mixing time and curing conditions may affect the final color.
