When the cast iron grill press is fully heated, the ridged surface will produce perfect char marks every time. First heat it to the same temperature as the grill or pan, and then place it directly on the food to speed up cooking. Big enough to squeeze two burgers at once.
How to use it?
Before you use it for the first time, pre-season this iron steak weight. Our favorite method is to remove the wooden handle, lightly coat it with cooking oil, and put it in an oven at about 300 degrees for about an hour and a half.
Easy to clean
Tableware with wooden handles cannot be washed in a dishwasher; exposure to hot water can cause the wood to warp or chip, please wipe off excess food and oil with paper towels or non-abrasive scrubbing pads after each use. Rinse well and pat dry immediately.
