Q:If the driver cannot be recognized by computer or it cannot play cd well?
A:
1.The dvd drive should be connected with USB port on laptop rather than connect with USB HUB. In addition, please connect the item with USB port behind of computer host if you use a desktop.
2.Ensure cd is placed well and not scratched.
3.Ensure there is a build-in practical driver software. Or try it with another computer.
4.Setting area code according to different regions, you should set region code to #1 to play USA discs.
5.Its better to use the external power adapter to increase the power if your devices dont have enough power to support the external drive.
6.Make sure your computer has a driver before using the external drive.(VLC Media Player or other player software.)
Q:How to check whether the computer recognize the external drive?
A:
1. For IOS, go to System Preferences, check whether shows a CDs & DVDs icon.
2. For Windows, go to My Computer, go to mobile storage device, check if there is a external drive icon.
NOTES:
1.The SD card and TF card can’t use at the same time,only choose one to work for you.Each of them can work well with the 2 USB ports at the same time.
2.Product support to play DVD and CD,Dont support to play Blu-ray.
3.The external DVD drive doesnt support TV / Car / Truck / Android Phone & Tablet / Chromebook / iPhone / iPad / Ubuntu OS.
4.Please make sure your computer has an available media player , burning, or ripping software before using it.
5.Do not plug this DVD drive into the USB hub/extension cable, just plug it directly into the computer, otherwise it will not be recognized.
6.Please plug the drive directly into your laptop or plug into the USB port behind of the computer host when you use a desktop.
7.If the USB port you are using can not provide enough power for this device through a single data cable, please use the attached USB power supply cord.

13.Advice for CD burning: For your With your Mac OS, you would need to find some suitable dvd burning software. It is better to choose the softwares from safe and tested source companies.
14.For Mac OS computer,when we plug the drive into Mac in the correct way,there is nothing showing on the desktop,after we insert a disc inside the DVD drive, that will be a disk icon shows on the desktop.
15.Most laptops no need additional drive, just plug and play, except for old system like win98 need to install the drive software first.
