Praying hands by Albrecht Dürer is a stunning pen and ink drawing which was created for an altarpiece. Unfortunately, this artwork was not used, as the altar was tragically destroyed by fire. This famous image is now portrayed on blue-grey paper, which was made by the artist himself.
