We precisely laser-engraved this rolling pin, polished it by hand, and covered it with a protective wood conditioner made from organic food-grade oil. Because this is a natural wood product there will be color variations that will be different from what is shown. There can also be visible wood rings on the engraved surfaces.
Increase in diameter
Based on usage, we have increased the diameter of the rolling pin by 0.2 inches, making the overall size of the product visible to the naked eye. As this is a mini rolling pin for making baking cookies, we try to control it to the most suitable size and make the cookies more exquisite. I hope to make better improvements to the product.

its a sugar cookie recipe with cornstarch and lots of refrigeration of the dough before baking.
The dough has to be able to hold the images and not "rise" during baking. Also, you need to oil the roller with an avocado oil spray prior to using it.
Id also suggest you look up King Arthur Flour and search for Springerle recipes. Follow the directions for the dough and allow the formed cookies to dry for 24 hours before you bake them.
