How to Remove Rust From Metal Wall Art?

There are some tips to clean the rust of your metal wall art for your reference.

1. You can use vinegar to remove rust. Try soaking it in vinegar. Depending upon the extent of the damage, you may only need to soak it for 10 or 20 minutes or you may need to leave the item soaking overnight. You can also soak a cloth or paper towel in vinegar and wrap it around your metal turtles if you cant take it down.

2. Another safe method of rust removal on metal is baking soda. Take some baking soda and mix it with water. Use only enough water to make a spreadable paste, but not so much that it cant stick to your wall art. Leave the paste on the wall art for about 30 minutes, then wipe it off with a wet rag.

Other Considerations

Dont use steel wool to clean your wall art; this can leave behind bits of steel which may rust and cause further problems. You could use some safe tools, such as plastic scrubbers and brushes, crumpled aluminum foil, toothbrushes.
