Description

The Triplett MG430 tests Insulation Resistance to 2000M Ohms using three test voltages (250V, 500V, and 1000V), and also measures AC/DC Voltage and Low Resistance (Continuity). Personal safety and loss of power performance are the main reasons for using an insulation tester. Commonly used in preventative maintenance programs, the MR430 allows you to check for the breakdown of electrical resistance in insulation typically found in motors, switchgear, power tools, appliances and cables. Additional features include a Lock Power function for hands-free operation, Data Hold to "freeze" the reading on the display, backlit dual LCD display, auto power off, plus low battery and overrange Indication. CAT III 1000V safety category. Includes test leads with alligator clip, (6) AA batteries, and carrying case.
