Step 1 punch holes

  • #9 rivets with 3.5mm dia hole punch
  • #12 rivets with 4 mm dia hole punch

Step 2: set the washer and ping the rivet

  • put the rivets and burrs into the holes
  • use the rivet fastner holes to set the rivet and the burr
  • hammer them together

Step 3 cut off extra rivet ends

  • cut off the excess
  • cut the rivet end to the length at 2-3mm

Step 4 peening over the ends
