High precision durable files, manufactured from chrome alloy steel and heat treated by a special process to guarantee sharper teeth for outstanding cutting performance on all hard and soft metals, including platinum. Crossing files are primarily used for filing interior curved surfaces. They are designed with a half-round shape on two sides, with one side having a larger radius than the other. They are tapered in both width and in thickness; and cut and usable to the point. The double radius makes possible the filing at the junction of two curved surfaces. Measures 6-1/4" in length (including the handle).
