Patented 4-way stretch technologyMaximizes the stretch of the three layer waterproof composite fabrics that are made by laminating the membrane in between the durable outer and performance inner components. |
Patented DEXLOK cuff seal constructionDeveloped (Pat. US11,638,452) for stopping water from coming into the waterproof sock at the top and from soaking in when it is immersed. This design enables users to stay dry across the cold creeks. |
Q. What size should I choose?
A. Please refer to the size chart below. Also please take a close look at the fit type for each socks recommended in our Comparison Chart at below. No matter if you are at the upper edge of a size, or if you have wide feet, you must choose a SIZE UP from your normal.
Q. How breathable are your waterproof socks?
A. Thanks to Porelle’s over 50 years manufacturing technology, the performance membrane used in our waterproof socks features Water Vapor Permeability (WVP) index 15,000 g/m2.day ASTM E96:95. The breathability can be translated to be 75% sweat moisture permeable.
Q. Can I submerge my waterproof socks in water or use them for swimming or showering?
A. Absolutely Not. Please note the term waterproof indicates that only the composite fabric with membrane laminated is waterproof. It doesnt mean however you can submerge your waterproof socks in deep water or ride for many hours in the rain without experiencing some water ingress. The water may run into the socks from the tops leading you to believe that they’re not waterproof!
Q. Why did I feel a bit cold feet when I steped into waters? Was my waterproof sock leaking?
A. Please note the waterproof sock can keep your feet dry, but the cold water on the outside makes your feet feel damp, but that is due to the temperature drop..
Q. How to wash and care my waterproof socks?
A. Our waterproof socks are machine washable with tumble dry low setting. You can use any common detergents available in the supermarket. But, please DO NOT DRY ON ANY DIRECT HEAT such as radiator or fireplace which will cause de-lamination of the composite fabrics!
