●DURABLE PREMIUM MATERIALS - The TrailMax Medium Saddle Bag package is constructed using double-stitched, 600-denier PVC coated poly for weather & UV resistance. Horn bags, saddle bags and cantle bags have a heavy-duty No. 10 zipper & are reinforced with webbing at all stress points. The entire saddle bag set can be machine washed and dried; just remove the liners and throw them in!
●DESIGNED BY EXPERIENCE - The TrailMax Medium Saddle Bag System is designed to stowaway your necessary trail gear; cellphone; binoculars, food and water, first aid and overnight supplies. The saddle bag system features removable Grab-and-Go inserts which offer an added layer of protection between your fragile items and the elements.
●HORN BAGS - The TrailMax Medium Horn Bags fit most Western & endurance saddles. They include a set of removable Grab-and-Go saddlebag liners which provide insulation & protection for fragile items such as a cell phone or camera. The Grab-and-Go liners also eliminate the need to remove your horn bags to access and carry your lunch, beverages, or other gear. ●SADDLEBAGS - The TrailMax Medium Saddle Bags have been designed to ensure the fit horses/mules comfortably. These saddle bags have grommets on each side for saddle strings & secure to the front rigging with quick release attachment straps. The bags will not shift or slap the horse & offer extra padding with removable liners. The Grab-and-Go liners make it easy to grab all of your gear at once, without having to remove your saddlebags. ●CANTLE BAG - The cantle bags are easily removed for packing & loading. The bag also compresses to a lower profile when not fully loaded & has compression straps to keep your cargo from shifting. Cantle Bag Dimensions: 19"L x 8"D x 9.5"W.

The TrailMax Medium Horn (Pommel) Bags easily fit most endurance and western saddles. They are secured down with straps over the pommel and tied down with the front saddle strings to prevent shifting and slapping against the horse or rider. Medium Saddle Bag Specifications
The TrailMax Medium Saddlebags are a great way to carry things you need on the trail. They have grommets on each side for saddle strings & secure to the front rigging with quick release attachment straps. These saddle bags will not shift, slap or get in the riders way & offer extra padding with removable liners. Dimensions: The saddle bags measure 11" x 4.5" x 10” (per side). The cantle bag measures 19" x 8" x 9.5".

Use horn bags for heavier gear.
When loading your western or endurance saddle bags on your saddle, having equal size, equal weight and equal weight distribution of your saddlebags is vital. Using horn bags for heavier gear (such as water, camera, binoculars, etc.) puts more of the load over the front quarters, where the horse can carry it better, rather than in your horse saddle bags behind the saddle.

Balance your load.
The more weight you carry in your horse saddlebags, the more important it becomes to balance them.
If you must load one side of your saddle bags heavier than the other, be sure to hang something heavier on the opposite side of the saddle. Riding saddles want to slip to the heavier side and nothing is more uncomfortable, and potentially hazardous, than riding down the trail with the saddle off to one side.

Know your horse.
Some horses can comfortably carry more than others and each horse should be looked at individually. A very general rule of thumb is 20% of the animals body weight with a "dead" load, and never more than 30% with an experienced rider in the saddle.
