Do they shrink when dried in the dryer?

No they did not! Also no iron needed! The fabric and comfort are excellent! I am definitely going to get back up pairs. I can sleep in them, walk, swim, go to the store and still feel presentable…

Are the thighs roomy? I have large thighs.

These shorts are roomy. I am 55 & long legged at 140lbs. I usually wear a size 6 long in pants and I like how these fit. Very cool in hot weather!

Could these be used for swim shorts?

I think they would work well as swim shorts. Built in panty, super light material and super fast dry time. Also elastic tie inside the waist band for added "security"
