MAGIDs NEW A.R.C. pants are available in the Comfort and Heavy Duty lines, but color options vary by style. These garments are specially treated and constructed with Nomex thread to protect workers from Arc flash hazards. Clothing is tested to meet the requirements of the following standards: NFPA 70E-2004 Hazard Risk Category 2 (HRC 2), ASTM F1506-02A and ASTM F1959M/F1959M-99 which is the standard test method for determining Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV.) Navy blue unhemmed pants are available in the Comfort line which is constructed of 88% cotton/12% nylon fabric that is flame resistant and complies with NFPA 70E-HRC 2. Plus, it provides increased durability, wearability and comfort and the Heavy Duty line that is made of 100% cotton fabric which is flame resistant and complies with NFPA 70E-HRC 2.
