The M620 monocular compound microscope is designed for classrooms and basic laboratory applications. It is an ideal microscope for teachers and students, including those in medical school or with a major in biology. It has a number of advancements in functionality compared to other microscopes in its class, such as enhanced LED lighting and a centerable condenser. Use the microscope for studying fixed or live cells, bacteria, plants and soil, or water samples. The monocular head keeps things simple. The use of a single eyepiece means that no adjustments are necessary for eye alignment or symmetrical focus. The head can rotate 360° for viewing from different positions. Interchangeable eyepieces allow you to change the overall magnification with optional lenses, or use a camera in place of the eyepiece to view microscopic images on a computer monitor or other display. The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. An additional 25X eyepiece expands the maximum magnification to 2500X with 6 unique levels. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy. The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides Our expanded slide preparation kit is included, with everything you’ll need to create your own specimen slides. Five pre-mounted specimen slides are included for instant viewing and to test your new microscope. Once you’re ready to make your own slides, you can use the assortment of tools to cut, collect, mount, and stain specimens like onion skin and cheek cells. Over 50 blank slides and cover slips are included for plenty of experimenting. A bottle of specialized glass cleaner is provided to clean up immersion oil and stains (not intended for children).
