Fiberglass Chopped strands are made from alkali-free E-glass fiber which has lengths from 1/4 to 5/16 (6 mm to 8 mm). The variable length of strands provides great strength to your putty mixture and it is great as a laminating mix. This product is multi resin compatible & allows standard reinforced applications. Feature: It is loose chopped strands of E-glass fiber Length - from 1/4 to 5/16 (6 mm to 8 mm). These short fibers provide greater strength for castings & reinforce fillets in parts that are not easy to laminate or reinforce. These strands are alkali resistant and provide good mechanical strength. Inorganic fibers are non-flammable, with good chemical resistance. Applications: Glass reinforcement putty, Repair of boats, vessels, kayaks, tanks, canoes, & other decorative applications which are made from fiberglass, Injection molding & compression molding.
