Something You Must Know:

  • In cold temperatures, the crank ventilation system generates more moisture, which may pose a risk of freezing.
  • When the outside temperature is near freezing, the oil catch can be cleaned weekly to prevent the crank ventilation system from freezing and damaging the engine seals.
  • When the temperature reaches a freezing point and below, we recommend disconnecting the inlet and returning water lines and installing the original PCV hose between the inlet pipe and the PCV valve assembly.
