The Unemployed Philosophers Guild is a company that creates unique and whimsical products inspired by art, philosophy, and intellectual discourse.
We offer a range of products including toys, games, home decor, and gifts, all infused with humor and intelligence.
At The Unemployed Philosophers Guild, our mission is to bring philosophy and laughter to everyday life.
Our origins are shrouded in mystery. Some accounts trace the Unemployed Philosophers Guilds birth to Athens in the latter half of the 4th century BCE. Others argue it dates from the High Middle Ages.
More recently, historians have pinpointed the birth of the Guild to New York City in the late 90s, when two brothers turned their inner creativity and love of paying rent towards fulfilling the peoples needs for finger puppets, warm slippers, coffee cups, and cracking up at stuff.
We are employed, just not as philosophers.
