Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 gun cover consists of 6 parts.
The guns cover is design and produced in the strict accordance with the lens function, will not affect the normal operation of the lens. The focus ring, support ring can be rotated independently, the control panel area can be opened the window, the baffle can reverse installation.
The autofocus version reduces the gun part and gap, the overall integrity is better. The gun cover is more compliant and the hand grip is more comfortable. However, the manual focus ring cannot be operated directly after the gun is fully installed, so only the AF function (For AF only) can be used. When manual focus is required, remove the gun cover that covers the manual focus ring. The part of the lens that protrudes at the 600mm end also has a special gun cover. It can be used without being installed. This part of the gun cover will affect the lens retraction after installation.
There are gap on the split structure of guns cover, it cant be used in the rain. The water repellency of fabrics will decrease gradually with the increase of use time. Please choose a suitable rain cover when used in the rain.
