Walking through the ladder is the first exercise most people take when they start agility training. You can then go from a two-foot forward run to a two-foot lateral run. Try hopping through each rung then do alternate rungs. Jump forward then jump backwards. Practice sideway ski shuffles or boxer fight shuffles. Weave in and out as you do jumping jacks.
