Special Note

  • It should be noted that the light strip can only convey "one message" to the rear vehicle at the same time. Like how the brakes and turn signals change,when braking, the turn signal will stop working, the light bar is all bright red,when you let up on the brake the turn signal (yellow) will continue.

Mounting Instruction

  1. It is recommended that you test the full functionality of the tail light strip before installation.
  2. Remove the tailgate and clean the area. Any dirt or dust will reduce the strength of the adhesive.
  3. Remove the red protective film from one side of the tape and hold the light bar from left to right for 30 seconds.
  4. Test your tailgate light bar to make sure no wires are loose during installation.

Common problems

(1) Is the tailbgate light strip single row lighting or four rows of unified lighting?

  • Separate lighting when performing an operation: Red Driving/Running or Brake lights are illuminated by two rows of beads at the same time, Amber Turn Signals and White Reverse lights are illuminated in a single row.

(2) A function does not work properly?

  • First check whether the connection is normal, and then send the non-working picture/video to the seller, the seller confirms the solution.

(3) Adapter problem: turn signal may not flash, brake light may not light?

  • A "7-pin to 4-pin trailer adapter with Safety tag" or "7-pin to 4-pin trailer harness with reverse 12V wire" will need to be purchased separately. This adapter will allow you to connect the light strip directly to the 7-pin connector on your cars bumper.

(4) Adhesive not strong enough?

  • In cold weather, the glue on the back of the lamp strip may harden. You can use a blower or other methods to blow hot taillight strip before installation.

(5) Not Compatible? Garbled codes after installation?

  • First confirm whether the size of your cars tailgate is >=60inch, and whether the system version supports the installation of our taillight strip. If you are not sure, please find us for confirmation.
